Very often, those suffering from chronic, out of control
anger problems live in a state of denial; that is,
they avoid facing their problem or accepting responsibility
for the pain they cause others, at all costs. Finally someone
– a spouse or family member, an employer, but most
often a judge – will require them to get professional
help for their problem. When that happens, the anger
addict (this is how they are often described) must not
only take an anger
management class, but he must present evidence that
he has successfully completed the course, generally in the
form of an anger
management certification diploma.
"Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship
of men and women who share their experience, strength and
hope with each other that they may solve their common problem
and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement
for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no
dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through
our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination,
politics, organization, or institution; does not wish to
engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes
any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help
other alcoholics to achieve sobriety."

to our locals as well. Look here for information.
